I read a couple short articles on the front page of the 350 about Indonesia setting up a switch rally where forty people got together to support the switch from using fossil fuels to renewable resources. About a protest in Maine called The Voice of the People:Over 1,000 people joined massive protest against the tar sands. I am happy to hear that people are getting together to protect the environment. Especially since there are new advances in technology that have made it so that we are back to having a huge supply in oil again and will out rank other countries in the supply because of this. With our country already depending so much on oil the thought of us finding out that we have more of it does not sound good for our future and climate. Hopefully we will keep fighting for our environment and just because we have more oil will keep expanding and moving forward on renewable energies instead of going backwards.
